For the prevention and treatment of internal and external parasites in pigs.


 

 

 

 

Composition: Abamectin 0,6 % m/m.

EFFICACY: Virbamax Premix is effective in the prevention and treatment of common pathogenic infestations due to sensitive strains of the following adult and immature internal and external parasites of swine.

Gastro-intestinal roundworms: Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum spp., Strongyloides ransomi, Stephanurus dentatus and Trichuris suis

Ascaridiosis: Ascaris suum

Lungworm: Metastrongyles spp. (adult)

Mange: Sarcoptes scabei var suis

Lice: Hematopinus suis

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed.

Virbamax Premix should be mixed into the feed of animals being treated.

A feed intake of 100 µg abamectin per kg body mass per day is recommended. This is equivalent to 16,7 mg Virbamax Premix.

Breeding sows and boars: Include 1,67 kg to 2,50 kg Virbamax Premix per ton of feed for consumption at a rate of 1 kg to 1,5 kg per 100 kg body mass daily for 7 consecutive days. The medicated feed can be given ad libitum as the only ration.

Withdrawal period:

  • Do not slaughter animals intended for human consumption within 14 days of treatment

PRESENTATION: 333 g white, opaque sachet and a 5 kg transparent polyethylene bag in a white polypropylene bucket.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store at room temperature below 25 °C.
