VIRBAC THE VALUE OF TRUST NATIONAL CAMPAIGN 2024

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. The terms and conditions set out below apply to all participants submitting entries for the Virbac The Value of Trust National Campaign , conducted by Virbac RSA (Pty) Limited, 38 Landmarks Ave, Samrand Business Park, Centurion, 0157, Tel: 012 657 6000 ("the Promoter").

will serve as acceptance by the participant of all the related terms and conditions:

Entry to the campaign is through the purchase of any of eligible  Virbac RSA products, as per entry form. 

  • For South African participants every 10 points earned will be eligible for the BUY AND GET component and will allow 1 entry into the MAIN PRIZE DRAW. This excludes feedlots.
  • For South African feedlot participants  every 30 points earned will be eligible for the BUY AND GET component and will allow 1 entry into the MAIN PRIZE DRAW.
  • For Namibian and Zambian participants there will be no main prize draw.  These participants will only be eligible for the BUY AND GET component of the competition.

Winners will be required to provide their original tax Invoice for their purchase dated before or on their entry date as proof of purchase for the qualifying Virbac RSA product upon receiving a phone call to announce that they are a winner. Should the winner not be able to provide a copy of the invoice to the Promoter on request, they will be disqualified. Please note that no other Virbac RSA products are eligible for this Promotion, other than those products mentioned above.

All South Africans, Namibians and Zambians, except employees of the Promoter, any of its Associated Companies, their merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies and all their immediate families, are allowed to enter this promotion.

No persons under the age of 18 will be considered eligible for this Promotion. Multiple entries will be permitted, subject to each entry being submitted separately (for separate purchases) and in accordance with entry requirements. 

The Promoter will not be responsible for any non-delivery of entries. The campaign runs from 1 February 2024 until 31st July 2024. No entries received after midnight on the 31st of July 2024 will be accepted.

 

Earn points and redeem them for a gift 
When you purchase eligible Virbac RSA products, you can participate in the campaign. For each product purchased, you earn points. You will need the correct number of points to claim a gift. There are 4 different categories of gifts that you can choose from depending on the amount of points you have accumulated. With the Product Option gifts, only one option can be chosen.

How to claim your gift:

Once the correct points have been collected, you can enroll by: 
- filling out the entry form 
- indicate your choice of gift and sign the form. 
- Send the completed entry form directly to Virbac using one of the following 
options; 

  • WhatsApp a photo of completed entry form and invoice to cell:  +27 83 539 4629.
  • Load completed entry form and invoice online <Website Entry>

You can also decide to accumulate and redeem your points at a later stage in order to claim a bigger gift.

Your points are valid throughout the duration of the campaign and you can redeem them at any time.
The main prize winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries and contacted via telephone (using the cell phone number / email address used to enter the campaign). Winners will be announced within 15 days of the draw on 16 September 2024

The main prizes will be 1 of 6 x Yamaha AG 200.  The prizes are non-transferable for cash.
The winner will accept the prize as is, at their own risk.

The Promoter will adhere to the minimum standards of record keeping as prescribed by the CPA; to the extent allowed in Law, reserve the right to terminate this Campaign immediately and without notice; accept no responsibility for any tax commitments arising from the acceptance of a Prize/s and independent financial advice should be sought for such purpose; not be held responsible for any unforeseen costs with regard to the acceptance of a Prize/s besides that which is stipulated in the Campaign; to the extent allowed in Law, not guarantee, warrant or make any representations whatsoever regarding the quality of the Prize/s.

The Participant will indemnify and hold the Promoter harmless in respect of any failure by it to comply with the Terms and Conditions; in the event of the Participant being a Winner, use the Prize/s entirely at its own risk and will indemnify and hold the Promoter harmless for any accident, injury, harm, death, damages, costs and/or Loss sustained by a Participant as a result of the possession or use of Prize/s won in the Campaign; for any loss, damage, harm or injury which the prize winners may sustain as a result of any claim which may be made against it by any third party, whilst participating in this promotional campaign.

The Promoters may refuse to award any prize to a participant if there is suspicion of any irregularities or fraudulent activities.

Neither Promoter nor its agents or distributors will have any liability in relation to this promotion.

If the Promoters are required by any legislation, the Minister of Trade and Industry, or the National Lotteries to alter any aspect of the campaign or to terminate campaign as a result of changes in legislation, the Promoters will have the right to terminate this campaign with immediate effect and without notice of such termination. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the Promoters and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoters, its agents, contractors and/or sponsors.

The Promoter shall not be liable if they are unable to contact the winning cell phone number within 48 hours of being drawn for any reason whatsoever. The Promoter may in its sole discretion decree that the participant whose cell phone number has been drawn but who is not contactable should forfeit the prize and the Promoter shall then draw a new cell phone number from the eligible entries.


The Promoter reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm eligibility and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s brands into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Promotion as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion.

The prizes will, where possible, be handed over to the winners at the agri-business where the winners bought the selected products.  At the Promoter's request, winners will have the option of participating in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in promotional material or in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this campaign (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. However, the winner has the right to decline an invitation to participate in any promotional activity or to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at Private Bag X115, Halfway House, 1685, Attention: Legal Department.

The Promoter may with the approval of the winner collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes with the permission of the winner.

The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter will at its own discretion, be able to amend the rules to the campaign at any time during the duration of the campaign.

Neither the Promoter nor its agents or distributors will have any liability in relation to this promotion.
