Terralon LA is for deep intramuscular injection only. It is strongly recommended to divide the intramuscular dosages over two or more injection sites – maximum 15 ml per injection site in cattle over 150 kg, and 7 ml in pigs, calves, sheep and goats. Injection sites should be alternated.
Cattle: 1 ml/10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg/kg body mass). If necessary repeat after 72 hours.
Sheep: 1 ml/10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg/kg body mass). If necessary repeat after 60 hours.
Goats: 1 ml/10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg/kg body mass). If necessary repeat after 72 hours.
Pigs: 1 ml/10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg/kg body mass). If necessary repeat after 72 hours.
In case of tickborne gallsickness (anaplasmosis), repetitive treatments (10-14 day treatment period) are necessary to eliminate the parasite from carriers.
WARNINGS:
Animals intended for human consumption should not, after last treatment, be slaughtered or the milk used within the time period indicated below

Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
PRECAUTIONS:
Contra-indicated in cases of known hypersensitivity, impaired liver and/or kidney function.
Use only when clearly indicated in the last half of pregnancy.
N.B. Although studies indicate that Terralon LA is well tolerated, a transient irritation may occur at the site of the injection. In lactating animals a small drop in milk production (up to 3 days) may be observed.
Hypersensitivity reactions occur occasionally.
Note to veterinarian:
In case of a serious anaphylactic reaction, the administration of epinephrine, antihistamines and corticosteroids should be considered.
