Injection
Composition:
Each ml contains 200 mg iron (III) as iron (III) hydroxide dextran complex
Dosage and directions for use:
Use only as directed. Uniferon® 20 % Vet must be administered by the intramuscular or subcutaneous route.
Target Species:
Piglets.
Prevention:
A single injection of 1 ml (200 mg iron) at 1-4 days of age. In fast-growing piglets a supplementary 1 ml (200 mg iron) injection is recommended 17-24 days after the first injection.
Treatment:
A single injection of 1 ml (200 mg iron). Normal aseptic injection techniques should be practised. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
Presentation:
200 ml LDPE (low-density polyethylene) collapsible plastic multi-dose vials with grey rubber stoppers and aluminium caps in aluminium sachets in cartons.
Storage Instructions:
Store at or below 25 °C. Protect from frost. Only remove 200 ml LDPE (low density polyethylene) collapsible multi dose vials from aluminium sachets immediately before use. Shelf life after first opening of the multidose vial: 28 days when stored at or below 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
