Emulsifiable Concentrate : Cattle Dip and Spray

COMPOSITION:  Amitraz 25 % m/v

DIRECTIONS FOR USE - Use only as directed.

Hand spray:
Mixing Instructions: Mix 10 ml in 10 L water.
Prepare about 5 - 10 litres dip wash per animal.  Thoroughly wet the animal by spraying from below upwards so that the hair is lifted by the spray.  Concentrate on the ears, under the tail and in the brush of the tail.

Spray race:
Once prepared, the spray solution should be used within a period of 3 days. Any solution remaining thereafter should be discarded.

Amidip Max should be incorporated into the spray race according to the following dilution table:

AMIDIP MAX

WATER

100 ml

100 L

200 ml

200 L

500 ml

500L

1 L

1 000 L

Dilute the required quantity of Amidip Max in approximately 10 L water, and  then incorporate the Amidip Max solution into the required volume of water in the spray race. Mix thoroughly.

Boost:
It is recommended that not more than 500 head be sprayed in the spray race at one time, particularly where fouling is a problem. Where this figure is exceeded, boosting at the rate of 100 ml per 100 head, commencing at 500 head, can be undertaken to maintain a satisfactory deposit of active ingredient, especially where tick-borne diseases are a problem.

Plunge dip:
Once prepared, the dip tank solution should be used within a period of 3 days. Any solution remaining thereafter should be discarded. Amidip Max should be incorporated into the dip tank at a rate of 1 L Amidip Max per 5 000 L water.

Total replenishment:
The dip tank should be made up to volume prior to each dipping interval.  Amidip Max should be added with each dipping interval at a rate of 1 L to 5 000 L,  taking the total volume of water in the tank into consideration.

Treatment frequency:
Ticks and mange: Spray or dip weekly.
Lice: Spray or dip twice with a 7 day interval.
